Claire Trevor born Claire Wemlinger on the 8th March 1910, Brooklyn New York...Award winning American actress with success on stage, radio, film and television. Claire married three times and had one son, whom was tragically killed in an air crash...Claire passed away on the 8th April 2000.....

Age ???

Age... Where would we be without it...On a daily basis I meet people who want to look older or younger but very rarely the age they really are...From a young age, girls think they need to look older. Then on adulthood they continually fight against age trying to banish it to regain their youth. What ever happened to children just being children and ladies celebrating their next birthday... I, myself have never wanted to grow up. Quite frankly I refuse to do so now....But I have never ran from my age for however fast I run it will always be waiting for me around the next corner...So Ladies don't cringe when that next birthday approaches raise your glass or tea cup as I much rather prefer and thank another year for gracing you, it only gets better when your truly vintage.....

Bubbles.....

American actress and dancer Mary Nolan...Born Mary Imogene Robertson on the 18th December 1905 in Kentucky USA...Known fondly as 'Bubbles'... Marys mother died while Mary was still a child...She worked as a farm labourer until she was old enough to move to New York where she found work as a model. Soon she was discovered by Ziegfeld and became a Follie...Sadly she was fired when she became involved with married comedian Frank Tinney ...During one of their many rows, She ended up hospitalised for injuries he had inflicted on her... Moving to Germany she made a number of films...Mary later moved back to the US and carried on her career in films...She was soon to become another Hollywood tragedy as work dried up and loneliness took hold...She became addicted to heroin and died on October 31st 1948... Aged just 42.....

One and All...until 2012

Well, it seems with a blink of the eye and it's almost gone...Many have learned good and bad from each passing year, we will all take and hold many memories.
