Talent cut short
Born Dorothy Jean Dandridge on November 9Th 1922 in Cleveland Ohio...American actress and singer..Dorothy was the first African American to be nominated for an academy award for best actress...Amazing talent that was sometimes greatly overlooked. If Dorothy had been an actress of today she would have been one of our best. Married twice, she had one daughter...Sadly Dorothy died of an accidental overdose on September 8Th 1965, she was just forty two years of age.....

D.D was a very beautiful woman born at the wrong time... I haven´t seen the biopic that Halle Berry did, but ist supposed to be good. Thanks for your comments! D
